Wanted Dead or a Wild packs a rough Western theme with merciless outlaws, bold robberies, and historic duels. The game flaunts a 5x5 grid with a maximum payout of 12,500x and a respectable 96.38% RTP.
The game is highly volatile. Standard symbols include 10-A cards, liquor bottles, money bags, bullet chambers, and skulls. While the special symbols are Wild, Duel scatter, The Great Train Robber scatter, Dead scatter, VS scatter, and the multiplier.
When a VS symbol lands, it expands to cover the entire reel. Two outlaws appear, each with a unique multiplier and a duel takes place. The winning outlaw’s multiplier applies across the reel. Simultaneously, the entire reel transforms into a Wild and the value of additional VS symbols are added to the winning tally. If you land more than one VS symbol, the multipliers are added together.
Wanted Dead or a Wild slot features three bonus rounds. In the following section, we explain each of them.
Landing three or more duel symbols in one spin triggers the Duel at Dawn bonus round that awards ten free spins. This mode is packed with VS symbols, and multiple duels may happen simultaneously.
Landing three or more Dead symbols triggers the Dead Man’s Hand bonus round. This is the best bonus as it unlocks the game’s maximum potential for rewards. You must collect as many multipliers and wilds as you can. The Wilds add up towards the top left corner of the screen while the multiplier value appears on the top right corner. Every time you collect a Wild or Multiplier, the free spin tally is reset to 3.
The game automatically enters the Showdown phase when the tally above goes down to 0. This is the second part of this feature. Each Showdown spin applies the collected Wilds to the reel. And the wins are amplified by the collective value of the multiplier.
Landing three or more The Great Train Robbery symbols triggers the The Great Train Robbery feature. This sticky wild award has ten free spins, and every Wild symbol remains sticky for the duration of this feature.
Wanted Dead or a Wild slot continues with Hacksaw Gaming’s tradition of high-strung adventure. The biggest surprise is during the Dead Man’s Hand round where you can collect the maximum number of wilds and multipliers. We recommend playing the demo game before placing a wager.
